I also went to the dealership to talk about what would happen to my warranty if I put a lift and tires/wheels on the truck. They said that everything will still be covered except the new parts obviously. And it also might void warranty on a part that breaks due to the lift. I assume that it would work along that route as well for this truck

Some asshat on TTE posted a Tacoma that his dealership 'worked over real good'

    ugly wheels
    cheap tires
BOSS 2.0 lift (he was bragging about how good this suspension was)
    Metal front and rear bumpers
    PRO grill
    PRO skid plate
    MSRP was 55,000+

He was acting like he wasn't advertising but he worked there, sooo

Colonial is a joke. Especially seeing the salesman ran over your foot...

Went here about a year ago when I was looking for vehicles. Walked out, never went back. Place is over priced even in used vehicles, called him out on it. I researched the hell out of what I wanted, knew everything there was to know. I think he figured because I was a female I didn't know what I was about. Little did he know I'm kinda a crazy Italian chick and can't pull shady on me.

Hate that place with a passion.

Boch is where to go for a Tacoma. Our salesman and the closing manager were awesome. We got a pretty awesome deal.

Glad you had a good time with Boch but I will never set foot in their dealerships ever again. I was ready to pick up my truck this weekend with a check in hand after doing all the leg work myself. They pretty much refused to contact my bank and refused to do the DMV visit after they promised me it would be no issue. Last weekend I signed the P&S, the Certificate of Origin and all the DMV paperwork. When they had done nothing by Wed. of last week (after agreeing to delivery this weekend) I did it all myself and planned to drive an hour to the DMV in Putnam, CT that was open yesterday. They flat out refused.

Not to mention not a single one of the four different people I was handed off to gave me their card or contact info. I tried for two days to get in touch with someone to get the status of the loan check. When my bank hadn't heard from them on Wed. and the salesman finally called me to ask if I was going to go to the DMV I told him to have the truck ready for me and don't bother with anything else.

How the hell can you afford this truck at 16? Fuck when I was 16 my car wasn't even worth $1000 lol. Even if you work after school, your parents must be paying as well. Insurance alone at that age is insane

I was fortunate enough to have my father buy the truck for me, on the terms that I have to pay for insurance, gas, and things like the lift etc. I work two jobs, one at the state house and the other on weekends from 8-6 Saturday and Sunday washing cars. Last year I think I worked around 700 hours haha.

This is all true, but it wasn't Colonial... It was Anchor Nissan. Excellent rant though. Moral of the story: Don't go to Anchor Nissan either.

Haha hustling. Very lucky your dad helped you out. I know my dad did as well with insurance when I was around 18-20, but I know a few people who's parents never helped them at all.

You sure he wasn't talking about a customer that the dealership 'worked over real good'?
