It was awesome! It was fun doing trails that involved more than just dirt roads or sand washes. It was fun having to actually use 4Lo and a little bit of thought. I feel like I learned a lot about how capable this truck is

The staircase is narly when wet! Fun little obstacle though. There some good spots on that trail to flex it out.

Yeah I definitely feel the tent. Mine is only 100 pounds though. There are some with 200 pound tents.
Yeah some guys who went down it before me said it was worse than usual because it got covered in sand so we pretty much slid the whole way, but I never felt out of control. It was super fun. I did actually have to use my armor once but it was because I was stupid. I just dragged my rear bumper over a rock but I only hit the tow hitch.

That's not hard to do with some of the cracks. I definitely want to take my Runner out there, see how it compares to my old Jeep on that trail.

Yeah I wish we had more time. We hit broken arrow then came back to havasu.

Yeah dude it would do great. There were a ton of 4Runners on the trail. I want to hike around there someday

Ton of great hiking trails in Sedona. I'm hoping next year I can go to the Expo. Not sure if they released the dates or not yet

They haven't but I'll be there for at least a day. This year was way fun. We spent a day in havasu, a day in flagstaff, a day in Sedona, and now back in Havasu before heading home.

The expo is cool, I always have a good time and it's fun to see how much the vendors really love the people and rigs that rock their gear. I talked to @Cascadia Tents forever.

It is a little pricey though. I wish admission wasn't so much, but camping off site and visiting for at least a day is pretty cool!

My buddies had a blast up there as well. Thinking of making more a camping trip outside the expo and maybe doing a day pass. Isn't the camping prices pretty insane?

I definitely think it would be fun to see the vendors and all the rigs there.

Yeah if you camp onsite, it's only a 3 day pass and it's close to 300 bucks.

It took us 5 min to drive down the next Fire road and find a good campsite that was free.

I think might be a good plan if I can go next year. No way I'm spending $300 to camp.

Yeah same. I wouldn't do that.

Only way I'd go all three days is if a vendor wanted to put my truck in a booth but I don't spend quite enough on it to get there... haha

Some of the rigs seriously cost over 100k
