Well, finally part of the club. Just purchased a 2017 Tacoma DCSB TRD OF 4x4 in Quicksand and could not be more happy. We purchased my wife a 4Runner last May and have been chomping at the bit to get a Tacoma.

This is the new truck next to my old ford.

    Near future upgrades include....

    3" Lift
    Black Wheels
    33" Tires
    Seat covers
    Plastidip all chrome

I'm sure I'll add items as I go. Anyways just wanted to introduce my self and say hello from Lubbock TX. Thanks

    Joe

Thanks guys. My main hobby is predator hunting and competing in Varmint hunts. I'll be welding up a highrack for this bad boy at the end of the summer. Can't wait to chase dogs out in the sand dunes! Ol Whitey just couldn't hang

Welcome, remember you will need to trim/cut to fit 33 inch tires. Lift alone is not usually enough to fit larger tires. It also depends on wheel backspacing, offset and other factors. Search function will be your friend here.

Yes sir. I'm somewhat educated on lifting vehicles. I've installed Carli's on 2 of my last two trucks and a fox on the pictured ford. I am ignorant though on what I will need to get the Taco done. I've spent countless hours on this forum in the last 3 days and will continue to do so. My main objective is to have a daily commuter that will handle its own off-road chasing critters. I'm not in need of a Baja ready suspension and dang sure won't be doing any rock crawling. We have two things where I'm from. Red dirt and sand!
