Teamwork is overrated, half the idiots don't know what the fuck is going on.

 

Im up for a management position and im having a tough time accepting it. The people id be managing are morons, well paid morons. I keep things in check as it is, which is probably why im being offered the position but i dont know how i feel about contractually being accountable for their mistakes. Our clients include Twitter, Verizon, Tmobile, Monsanto, Texas A&M, Tarrant County, Dallas Market Center... i dont want to be responsible for the bafoons that piss these people off.

But... its more mod money, possibly 4x4 money. Tough call.

Network and Net Security experience, but not a ton....

 

Any certs? If no certs, pay wont be great, itll be decent and room to grow depending how fast you pick it up. Need to be serious about learning it tho, this is some real nerd stuff. We dont have too many nerds though, ive seen really smart super dorks get passed up for not so smart, but less socially awkward candidates.

if youre serious, send me a PM and i can let you know what we are looking for. Its a 24/7 team so if you dont mind rotating scheds, even better. There is an opportunity to be remote, but youd have to spend at least a couple months in office.


If anyone knows any collab, they will looking to replace me if i take this other position.

 

Working on three certs at the moment. I guess this is all in DFW? That would be the biggest issue for me as I live in Tyler.
