just thought i'd mention this to you guys so it doesnt happen to you. heres the deal, about a week ago i emptied my equipment out of the back of my truck to head into town and was in a bit of a rush doing it. after unloading everything, i came up on the passenger side of my truck and rapidly lifted the gate from the corner to close it, when all of a sudden, 2/3 of the way closed it popped off the hinge and landed on top of my bumper. the hinge put 2 small nicks in the plastic cover, but it still made me a little mad that it had happened. just a little warning for the rest of you guys so im the only sucker that this happens to, lol......

naw, havent done anything about it yet, just know to watch out for it now that its happened. the dings were in the plastic cover on top so it wasnt that big of a deal, more a surprise than anything since i must have closed that thing hundreds of times and its always gone without a hitch. hmm, yeah, i guess a hoseclamp would be a simple preventative measure against this too.

I guess luck is on my side, I have done that hundreds of times and all is good, sorry for the mishap, I would be pissed.
