I was bumping an old thread. Not sure if the OP needs help. I am looking to add some switches in the bed for lights, and was looking for recommendations

I've got a setup similar to what you've described. I have an RTMR with switches in the cab, one of which sends power to a blue sea fuse box I put in the smaller cubby next to the factory 110v outlet on the TRD OR. From the blue sea panel I've got four switches mounted behind the tail light so that I can isolate the four pods I've placed on the corners of my bed rack. I can get some pictures of it if you'd like.

OP, there's room for those 12v outlets behind the composite bedside in the area above the factory 110v outlet in the TRD OR. That's where I've got my blue sea 12v outlets. In the pic below you can see that I've got my fridge plugged into them. I only have the single row outlets, but there's plenty of room for the double row.

I am interested in more pictures! In that cubby, I have my quick connect for my air on board, but I dont mind cutting a hold where yours is, but for my application. Id also need to somehow waterproof the area up there.

I used to have it, but I hate wiring. I have the sPod. Its essentially the same thing, but eliminates me having to wire it up with the relays and fuses. I just now plug and play.

My question is would I need to add another fuse block, to add 4 additional switches to the bed..

I'll grab some pics in a few hours and share them. I mounted the fuse panel on the top side of the box hanging upside down... to keep as much water and dirt out of it as possible. The good thing about having selective power sent from one fuse panel to another fuse panel, is the additional circuit protection. If there's ever a short from submersion of the bed fuse panel all I'll have to do is replace a fuse on my RTMR under the hood and maybe have to reset my breaker.

I'm in the process of gathering old pictures and notes to create a build thread, so I may get that going and direct you there in order to keep from stepping on the OP's thread any further.

Quality bump - I've got my ArkPack in the back seat and would love to run a 12v wire from it to the bed. I might steal this idea so my LEDs don't have to run off one of those small usb packs that I'm currently using.

How did people end up weatherproofing this?

I got it sorted, thanks. I was initially going to try to run the 12v and lights on the same circuit but I decided to run separate wires for the bedlights.

I like the idea of having the wiring there in case bedlights are replaced by another accessory in the future.

I've got some pictures and short write up on the first page of my build thread, hope that helps!

thats one fancy doohickie... put another behind the rear seats or whatever you have back there out of the elements. lots of holes to run wires, be sure to use a grommit and seal it.

It was $350. In this case id rather pay a little more, to save me the headache of not figuring out a wiring diagram
