Pencil me in! My boys are 12 and almost 9 now. They are good to go. Both in Scouts and sports.
We'll see how they might/maybe be in 2 years.

10 and 5 now. we have never camped before! spent a good bit on suspension but my wife is really warming up to this camping/overlanding stuff so I'm going to start building for that. we have time to practice. This stuff looks great though. Better to take your kids on trips like this than the usual beach trips. Nothing wrong with the beach but I would like to start exploring and taking my kids to new places and doing new things.

I don't believe so. We did some minor exploring and sight seeing the first day. After that we did Top of the World. It's about a five hour trail that's mostly easy with a couple medium obsticles. The goal at the top was awesome.

After that we took a day to do minor repairs and adjustments to our trucks and decide on the next day.

Personally, I wanted to do Golden Crack. I had no idea the epic adventure that awaited us to get to it. This is only one of many obsticles on the Golden Spike trail. Highly recommended!

I have no idea what Sablime Point is, but I'll certainly have to look it up.

I use Cyberlink Power Director. Also tried a trial of Adobe Premier, but it wasn't as intuitive to me.

The GoPro software will tie all your time lapse into a video for you also.

The North Rim was closed when we went, so no go on Point Sublime. They are supposed to have opened on the 15th.

@Davtopgun, point sublime is a 4x4 only location on the North rim with a 270' view and camping with a permit.

Start your trails early. With 6 trucks it was difficult getting going early enough every morning and it put us late to camp. Also, make sure everyone with you has AGREED and STICKS to the same agenda.

Dude, they all just blew me off haha! Granted, Brian was putting his on his bumper..

When I say "at the bottom" in the videos I mean the bottom of the final hill. It was basically one big hill to get to the ledge, and mine was just sitting at the bottom. Literally like 99% of the trail I had completed lol, at least all of the difficult stuff.

I have the AAL in there as well to support everything. You didn't mention RTT though, which I have. It rides great with all the leafs, and of course supports everything.

Launch Pad, one of the steepest climbs I've ever seen. The video doesn't do it justice at all. You can see the bump on the uphill portion they both spun on. Had they lost traction and come backwards who knows what would have happened. Dave said that had the highest pucker factor of any obstacle he did.
