Finally made it out to the Manistee National Forest with the FJC. We drove about 20 miles of ORV routes.

I had to work but my friends and I bought 79 Jamboree and they ran it. They said some one took a 15 4runner pro.

Hey Guys! I recently picked up a 2010 Tacoma. It’s still in grandpa mode, because it was owned by one  . So far I love it!

I live in Comstock Park, which is about 10 minutes north of grand rapids. I used to be into jeeps and stuff, so im used to meets and trail ride events and stuff.

Is there any of that for the Toyota crew in Michigan?

No matter were it's located, some will have farther to drive than others.
We all appreciate you putting something together, and most will show if they can.
    Thanks for doing this.

Do the pictures I added to my map icon show up on other members maps? Just curious. This map is kinda neat.

Wow this is a pretty good sized group. I'm in for a meet and greet, or some trails. It's my DD , so I don't want to break or beat on it. Hopefully I can make a meet up.

I think they came up as a point by themselves. Looks like a set of 3 pictures called, "point 32"? There are a lot of features with this map I'm not familiar with yet!

Hope we can all make something happen, this is a great turnout for MI!!

Bundy is the only ORV park i've been to so far.
Anyone else know of good ORV Parks or trails in the LP?

I heard there's like 70+ miles of truck trails (nothing too crazy) through the state forests near Kalkaska.

There's some good/easy ORV routes on the NW side on the state near Baldwin,mi. Little Manistee, tin cup springs, and Lincoln hills trail systems.

Orv routes are sandy and some are really whooped out but overall I really liked them. The scramble area is a lot of fun.

My 2 cents about the ORV loops in the Manistee trail system.
The ORV loops in baldwin like the Tin Cup, Irons/ little manistee river loop are legal for full size vehicles... But these trail systems were more specifically designed for two Lane ATV use Like UTVs and quads. I ride these loops quite often (on a quad) and once in awhile will almost hit a guy coming at me in a full size vehicle, because its wooded and one truck wide. So i guess i'm just saying be very cautious when using these trail systems. The ATVs travel much much faster than a truck and its not uncommon for an atv to come around a at 50mph.

So have fun! But use common sense too!

very true. but this is a common issue on all ORV routes in MI, mixed traffic and speeds.

I think it would be a great trip. The only thing I'm not married to is the trip home during the holiday weekend. Cincinnati would be a night mare. Can you spare a days vacation and leave on the 30th?
