JD from same era, look to spend WAY more money. Some 330's and 430's from late 50's go for $50,000 to $100,000 in pristine condition. Much more "collectable".

 

So anybody else hear anything about needing a passport to travel to different states? This was the first I've heard of it today. Doesn't seem right. Can't be real.

That JD (linked) probably ISN'T "field ready" at that price point. I was thinking about buying one a few years ago. Best price I could find on a solid runner 430W was closer to $10K. Get into the high crops or specialty tractors of that era and they're mighty damn proud of that green paint.

Also, Harvester built a tractor just a tic bigger than the Cubs.... "A", "B", and "C",s. They show up for sale at times. Just a bit more HP on a similar size chassis. Allis Chalmers "C"'s are great little tractors too.

 

I read our state isn't a "real id" state so we would need a passport in 2018

I think a FarmAll or IH is what I like. Especially the wide front end. As a matter of fact, I may find a wide front from a bigger tractor and slap it under there.
