    Goodmorning Tacomaworld!

Installed my header rail. It was supposed to be put on when I got the truck but the dealer didnt order it in time. Worked for me! Who doesnt like installing things on their truck? Also put some some nice allen bolts in the factory tonneau holes to prevent rust.

I'll have to order the end caps for the rail. I don't like it when things look unfinished. Probably would have been fine if I didn't know they existed.

The end caps are stupid expensive for what they are - two small pieces of plastic.

I know this might just be me harping. But why do you need Blind spot monitoring on mirrors that were designed to give you manual blind spot monitoring???

I've seen lots of people ask if it has BSM and complain that they don't, but that isnt what they were designed to do...

Just began doing things to my Inferno. Got the Weathertech Floor mats and just dipped my grill. Looks as though it was meant to be.dipped grill.jpg

It's been a while since I've posted, and I've got my @Mobtown Offroad sliders and rear bumper epoxied and mounted up, as well as mounting my @InstantAirSupply tank from the group buy. I'll post some pics when I'm off shift. In the meantime, I cut my center console storage organizer to fit my CB radio.

Patiently waiting for my CVT tent to arrive and then I'm building a bedrack to hold it. Should be a fun summer!

I decided to do something that I'm pretty sure no one else here on TW has yet to try...... I took off the stock tires and replaced them with KO2s. For now they are mounted on the stock sport wheels. Waiting for the "stop sale" to end on the 4runner TRD wheels. Still, I think it looks pretty good for now... and of course, no rubbing. My AVID bumper guards should arrive Thursday.

A review of the expo?? Well, in short, everything you want, at discounted prices and most places not charging sales tax. Add to that, every cool offroading rig and product, sea of built Tacoma's and 4Runners... It all leads to less money in the back account. I managed to get away without doing too much damage. Got a Pelfreybilt Aluminum mid skid to go with my IFS skid as well as an Outerlimit Supply trauma kit with the quick release mount. At the price they were selling it, there is no way you could assemble a kit that complete, plus they included the quick release mount for free. Been wanting one for a while, so when I saw them there offering these at a discount, no hesitation, I snagged it. Other than that, my patch game was stepped up big time.

Thank you! I am looking to re-wire my lights and winch and want to order a blue sea. I've never done this before so a little unsure of everything I need to get.

Definitely check it out. I've got one and I love it -- I'm mounting a 12-circuit as well as circuit breakers and a switch-pro plate on it. Let me know if you have any questions about the wiring -- it can be confusing for sure, especially with relays and cab switches involved. Good luck!

That looks great! Does it adhere to California's window tint laws? I'm still trying to figure out how much I should go on my windows...

    Thanks! :)

Operation "Not look like a TRD Off-Road" continues. Removed the bedside decals and got me an SR5 grille. I am trying to decide if I want to paint/plastidip the emblem/surround black, but it is still up in the air. before/afters below... and how the hooptymobile currently sits.

Next up: 4 Runner off road wheels? FJ wheels? Maybe more in the gunmetal range vs black, not too sure yet.

I waited till the middle of the day, pulled out a heat gun hit it for about 30 seconds all around and then peeled right off, virtually no residue. I put "GOO-GONE" on a microfiber rag (NOT GOOF-OFF DO NOT USE GOOF-OFF on paint) to get what little there was, washed the area, and then waxed it.

    side note: nice sig... hah

EDIT: Thanks @FLACOMA for pointing out my error.
