I'm camping this Thurs-Sunday!! Real camping, in a tent!

He speaks the truth. It's like when I took a girlfriend snowmobiling years ago, it was a 150 mile ride and about -10F. Believe me when I say, she will never ride a snowmobile again in her life!

Afternoon y'all! Looks like it'll be 90 degrees on Thursday! Finally!

I may end up working from home for just that reason. I need to sand, prime, paint, and clear coat my grille surround before the rain comes back!

I always speak the truth. Unless I'm joking. Or lying. :spy:

But yeah, it's very similar to that. My GF won't go winter camping again because the first time she went we had a cold snap and it never got about zero the entire time we were out. She spent the whole week huddled around the fire and didn't have a good time at all, and she hasn't been interested at all in coming with us again. :notsure:

I'll admit I have zero interest in camping. It's a little ironic because I hike, kayak, etc. all the time. I'll do a 16-mile day hike no problem, but I want a shower and to sleep under a roof at the end of the day.

Me too. I'm up for like a log cabin in the middle of the woods. But that's about it.

See, and I'm happiest when I'm camping in the middle of nowhere on a lake or a river for a few days. I'll do a few short hikes, but mostly I'll stick around the campsite and go fishing, swimming, hunting, etc. But if I can see or hear other people from where I'm camping, it pretty much ruins it for me. Getting hard to find spots like that, too.

Did some light off roading for lunch. The cool thing is you can pretty much drive off the road and as long as it isn't government property or private property you'rye game.

The blue dot is where I took the photo from the next photo and vice versa... It was a sheer drop at some points with a narly washout at one point that I puckered pretty hard crossing over. It was about a mile long road downhill which was easy with hill decent in 4Hi. On the way back up I was in 4Hi but since it's RHD I was right over the edge the whole ride up and the ass of the truck was bouncing around a bit.

Later we wandered off into a orange orchard trying to take a shortcut back to work and I managed to get some air in the truck off a roller at 80 kliks.

No, he said you can drive anywhere. No way you're getting a truck on the beach because of those stupid birds.
