I'm just dropping in for a second. STILL catching up on emails and PMs so that I can keep rolling on the business.

Love the footage so far. I have a bunch of editing work for customers I have to prioritize for now, but will get the photos up in stages as time permits. Had a great time with everyone out there and wanted to say thanks for your faith in me for spotting. I almost love spotting more than driving!

The hardest obstacle I believe on the whole trail. All 4 vehicles we watched had to be winched up it. Only a suzuki samurai popped up it before I had my camera out. Yes, I know the camera is bad..it's dark, we were on the trails for 13 hours.

Also try out Sony Vegas. That is what I use now after cussing GoPro's crap video editing software. Never worked properly, always had audio issues after editing videos. Sony Vegas works great for me!

I made this short video linking the pictures from my cell phone together of our small garden bed. Added the text as well. It is fantastic for editing videos though. It is so easy to cut out video you don't want.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it get more intense than that according to the locals. AccuWeather show high 90's and even 100's in July, August. Bring lots of water for family. Half way though the day my lips were dried out and I was always thirsty (minimal humidity dries you out quick). Also I would have brought dust masks especially when convoying behind other vehicles. I am still coughing that crap out of my lungs. It is very fine and gets into everything. We were actually lucky that it rained for two days while we were there keeping the dust to a minimum.

North Rim did not open till 15 May. We were disappointed to find out but at least knew ahead of time. Ideally you camp and hike on Sublime Point on North Rim and then spend a day at South Rim unless you want to add more time to hike there. I would also be touching base with the Park Rangers to see what kind of capacity they have for Sublime Point ahead of time. No matter what you can always find a place to camp in the National Forest. Of note, we saw elk, mule deer and one sign that indicated a cougar crossing (never saw one of those before) on the South Rim. If you have kids I would certainly be wary of critters.

Doesn't matter much since she was too busy blessing me out for not following her directions as a spotter, especially as we headed down. Think I will make her drive next time.

I loved the times she got really excited when we all completed an obstacle though! That made me laugh. Her reactions and Tanya's Russian cussing really got me tickled on this trip lol

Look up Sublime Point on North Rim of Grand Canyon. 16 mile off road jaunt from near the visitors center out to a point on the North Rim. 4X4 only but not too tough. Sounded epic but we were too early (didn't open till 15 May and probable opening time may vary each year). The North Rim is anywhere from 1,000 to 1,500 feet higher than the South Rim and they said there was still snow on the roads.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I'll have to watch the videos later today. Can't wait to see more pics. Makes me want to go back there again. It's an amazing place.

When I went in March I went through the Rockies via I70 through Colorado. Probably the most scenic interstate in the country. I highly recommend it.

AllPro Expedition leafs have really worked out best for me. Had the AAL's and they really didn't give me enough support when loaded out. Take a look as they have two different verisions of the Expedition leafs.

I would say he did, but no idea how fast he will get it. I'll say this...I'm getting mine done in a week lol. Custom HC, from a skilled shop. If you guys like the work (Matt himself said he doesn't love making the bumpers for our Toyota's and was really disappointed with mine) I can hook anybody up with the guy for some custom work.
