Had the lift on for a couple of weeks now and got to test it out today. First my wife and I went to Peters Mill Run in Edinburg VA. After a Pizza in Harrisonburg we went to the Rocky Run OHV Trail. My wife has never done much trail riding and it's been a few years for me. What a Blast!

Peters Mill Run was much much easier to go down as far as room for a vehicle and looked to be pretty heavily groomed. There was a moderate amount of ATV/dirtbike traffic. A poor kid busted his ass on a Honda dirtbike going by me and layed on the ground in pain for a while. His dad said he was "OK" and "we're good"......So.....on I went. This trail is easy, as the other reviews i've read said. I saw a stock 2016 Tacoma cruisin down it.

Rocky Run was different, in a more exciting way. The trail was very tight if you care about branches raking your paint at all. Made it through fine without scratches though. There was some mud/water puddles to go through and it was slightly more challenging than the PMR trail. Here are some pics that the wife and I took at Rocky Run.

It was awesome, I had no idea what to expect at each trail. I believe most stock 4x4's could go down either trail.

That's funny, i thought it was just me who was confused about them. I even had a map and still went down a fire road instead of the trail, haha. I saw a Jeep and Followed it to the Southern end of Peters Mill Run to start. This is the same guy half way down the trail where I caught up. Jeep.jpg

    Got the maps'n info here

ALMOST RUN OVER BY THE WIFE!!!!!
    Cutting Branch Almost Run Over!.jpg

I should have taken more pics of the trail where the obstacles and mud holes were but I guess I was having too much fun. Rocky Run was lenghty it seemed and If you enter by Gospel Hill Church it's a lengthy bumpy 6 mile FDR road to get to the beginning. Wish I was there now but have to get some quotes out for work.

yeah Peters Mill was kinda lame. It looked groomed big time, where they had made sure no water puddles would form with all the man made drainage pushes by machine. Rocky Run OHV was more of what I wanted. Thanks for the heads up on flagpole.

We were just there about 3 weeks ago. Definitely nice out there. I got lost too but that doesn't mean a thing.

Signal Knob fire trail hike in Massanutten apparently opens up for cars/trucks a few times a year. We were visiting cedar creek battle field. and the ranger told us we can hike it or come back when they open it up for vehicles to get great views of the town and the battlefield. Asked him when that is. He wasn't sure but he said check the battle field website. Haven't seen anything yet.

Simple and cheap Bilstein 5100's up front for 2.5" lift and Deaver AAL out back with 2 degree shim for about the same rear lift w/Toytec Boss Shocks. I now have the rear diff breather mod done. Two weeks ago I put ProComp 17x9 steel wheels and 34's on (285/75R17). Nice Pups in your pics.

Had an adventure today and got stuck. The wife had to rescue me in our F-150. I'm having a hell of a time uploading pics tonight from my Hughes Net

Where bouts are you near Staunton? I currently live in Verona and love to get out whenever I can. Truck is still stock so cant do anything to crazy yet. Did do the flagpole trip thats @fatfurious2 was talking about a few posts back so its possible. Lift and armor in near future if everything keeps going like it is right now.

Ive been to Flagpole a few times and Peters Mill a few times. Flagpole is more fun, as they combed over Peters Mill. Its now a dirt road. I was trying to get some people together to go on the 27th. Anyone is welcome. It will just be fun for me, because ive done some way harder stuff at Rausch. But its fine to just get in the dirt

Yes this month. Just a day trip to Peters Mill. Its a quick and easy trail. Definitely stock friendly. Some of us NoVa guys will be coming down.

Flagpole is longer, still fun. Has one tough spot. Id say it's still stock friendly
