Tires for looks...Maybe functionality

Alright, here goes. I have the 2017 TRD OR in "Yeah, I F****d your gf" Orange. I want to put some larger tires on it mainly for looks. I understand that if they're bigger I can get some more ground clearance which is good. So heres what I was thinking; 265/75/16...How much will they raise my truck? Have you done it/would you? What about 267/75/16?

No such thing as 267/75/16.

You probably have 265/70/16, so 75s would raise the truck half an inch.

 

I'd go for 269/75/16 myself.

 

First one about 0.5"....as for 267/75/16 I don't think you put that down correctly

 

Wont get much lift out of the tires since the increase in size is halved in actual ride height. As for the actual tire choice, everyone has a preference and the next 5 guys can all have different opinions. Find a tread pattern/sidewall you like and get it.

Well I would like to keep the wrangler Kevlars just bigger, but I will look into both of those tires, and actually it would be "you gfs little sister"

Look into tall & skinny pizza-cutter tires. Lots of "look," added clearance under the axles, little to no fitment issues.

 

some 285/75/16's wont fit will they?

 

Depends on the tire and if you off-road. I've seen claims from 3rd gens saying they fit without modification, but most can agree they won't without a lift and some slight cutting.
