Picture from my camp spot near the overland expo this past weekend. Super windy but the CVT held up like a champ.

Nice! I'd pay that much for it. Service the axles and hubs if you buy it.

As has been mentioned, see what kind of axle it is/how expensive it'd be to put matching wheels on it so you have spares.

Usually around $100 for two. Easy peasy.

Green Coleman stove when car camping supplimented with a jetboil for quick meals.

I don't get the whole Skottle thing. See them all over the social medias, apparently you need one now to be a car camper ("overlander"). Honestly unless I'm missing something it's basically a non-stick pan over a backpacking style single burner on steroids. My green Coleman has served me well for years and I expect it to continue to do so. It's simple, easy to fix and find parts for, and it works well:notsure:

I looked at the skottle and seemed like a ripoff for the price. I've been looking at the coleman stuff but its seem their newer stuff doesn't get the best reviews. Then theres things like the cook partner stoves. To many options ha... I just need something that doesn't take up much space, 2 burners, has a lid or cover and the wife will find easy to use as she likes to cook, and since she has never camped before (city girls) i want to make the first time as best as possible.

Old school Coleman greens are usually available in garage sales and goodwills for cheap. That's my second stove of choice.

I recently traded an 18 pack for an older green coleman that was posted on FB for sale or trade, the dude used eazy off oven cleaner to clean the stove and wasnt happy that the eazy-off bubbled some of the paint. whatever, it's now a bombass backup stove to the backup stove lmao. I drove all the way by Magic Mtn to make the trade and it was worth it..

Ya Craigslist is probably your best bet for the older Coleman's. I've had mine for 20+years. Besides replacing a few things here and there it's still kicking.

Find one cheap, maybe you've got to get a few replacement parts for it but that beats the hell out of $300 for a non-stick pan on top of a single burner with 3 legs attached...

    Just my .02¢

I've found about a dozen that way and have never paid over ten bucks for any of them. Cleaned up a few of the more modern ones and donated them to local boy and girl scout troops. Still have a pair plus the one that was my fathers here.

I rock a Coleman green as well. I bring a cast iron skillet and a non stick. Pretty easy to make whatever.

I think new coleman stuff gets complaints cause its not just push a button a go. That being said I rock a white gas coleman stove and lantern from 67... I also have a propane coleman BBQ and a jet boil. It all fits in a medium action packer I love how compact my kitchen has become. I've also got some cast skillets with 30 years of bacon in them
