That is awesome about the Tacoma...just kidding, she should be very proud of herself, that is a tough thing to do and she is giving back through the non profit. She is Amazing.

There is a HF in town and that price is more than right. I seldom go there but will this week now  Thank you so much!!

You can be very proud of her and sounds like you are. And should be. It took me ~15 years to finish my first BS degree while active duty. And now they have talked to me about getting my Masters at work under the new structure I'm supposed to have one for my position that I work in. All I can say to that is No_Freakin_Way! I just don't have the energy or will power to do that anymore. Congratulations to your wife and the work she does on top of her academic accomplishment! Sounds like you did pretty well in the spouse selection department, well done to you also :)

Just got back home from my VA Ortho appt

No change in x rays from 4 months ago so that's good however I've got a lot of scar tissue building up especially around the MCL . My surgeon told me due to my fast scar tissue growth its not advisable to go back inside unless the prothesis has failed as scar tissue will come back . mentioned also how I was doing well right after I had my knee scoped to remove scar tissue and how good I felt after but 2 months later it grew back

My Dr also mentioned to take it easy on walking for exercise and to use medicated gel on my knee twice a day to relieve the adhesions / scar tissue . I'm to see Ortho again in 6 months

As long as I'm shown 80% service connected disability the $$$ per month offsets the pain and if I get that extra 20% to get me to 100% service connected the pain won't bother me !!

Well, sitting in the waiting room. Not gonna go over to get things done because................... and as I was trying to type this the doctor just came out to tell me everything went well.
Her dr. is really really good.
I hate this hospital with a passion. Worst admin bs of any hospital I've ever dealt with, but her dr is the best dr I've ever meant.
She literally got wheeled out of prep at 10:21 and the doctor was talking to me at 10:40

Now I'm sitting in the allergist's parking lot waiting for my appointment time. I guess this trip we're going to test for food allergies. I'm sure this'll be interesting.

Since I'm pretty much bored waiting on the appointment time, I decided to check what page we were on when I first posted here...page 860! I think a lot of world problems have been solved just on this forum alone, and a helluva a lot before I got here...glad I was here to witness the others!
