One of the most annoying things in any formerly "small" town that is overpopulated well beyond capacity; Somebody needs to make a left turn but there are other vehicles coming in the opposite direction so they have to yield. There is typically no room to pass on the right, so everyone behind the person waiting to make the left turn has to wait as well (UGH!):

I am strongly considering purchasing a 1st gen Tacoma as a secondary "beater" so my near-mint 2010 doesn't get fucked up again. I don't care what bed/cab configuration it is as long as it isn't a DCSB. A regular cab is preferred, but if the right truck comes along it doesn't really matter. Engine and whether it's 4x4 or RWD doesn't matter. My only requirements are:

Working A/C
Clear title
5-speed manual

This is an obnoxiously regular occurrence. The Volvo dealer (to the right in this shot) seems to get vehicle deliveries every week! As a result, car-carriers regularly take up almost an entire lane!

This forces drivers over the double yellow line and into the opposing lane. EVERY BLEEPING WEEK!

I would NEVER buy a 3rd gen myself, but what I can't figure out is why 1st and 2nd gen owners are insulting 3rd gen owners/lessees, and as a result are getting into fights that get them banned.

This country is already divided enough as it is! All of us Tacoma owners should stick together, regardless of what generation our trucks are!

 

I stay out of the 3rd gen sections as a rule...

 

I never go in there anyway. Why don't you?

 

Because it's an easy way to get in trouble.
I've found the rehashing of topics to be quite annoying.
Also not all the noobs truly understand that TW is more than just a forum - it's like extended family.
