It is the location you all live or grew up in it has come up before like @US Marine and his Papa thing . Up in Maine none of that stuff was around when I was younger never tried it till much later in life some I liked some just from the ingredients I am not willing to try . Want a laugh at my expense .. I went to Basic Training in San Antonio, TX a couple of days in some of the guys are all kinds of happy as we were going to be having Corn Dogs for supper.. I had to ask what it was I had no idea they were not a food up in Maine not even at a State Fair which is what a lot of the guys said you know Corn Dogs like from the fair ... They failed to realize at our state fairs it was apples, blue berries etc fried dough, and mainly fish, clams, scallops, chowder fish or clam etc along with pizza , burgers , hot dogs which were always all beef red cased hot dogs .. So I Like some of the many different ethnics foods I have tried in the US and the countries I have been to but do not have the pallet for some of the stuff.

Well, I used to live where @US Marine Lives. In fact, he literally lives down the street and around the corner from a place My wife and I used to rent. And My wife grew up in Berdoo.
The Papa thing you refer to is a double cheeseburger, I know you had double cheese burgers in Maine. And E Street Burgers was a great burger place, but I don't think its around anymore, it was the location of the ORIGINAL McDonalds. The very first one. Pre Ray Krock, Pre golden Arches.
I can't help you if you have never had a Burrito. You don't know what your missing.

We did food today, plants and pollens last time. Next week we start building resistance to the ones that were hot. No foods. I wasn't allergic to any foods they tested which, by the way, are foods I eat regularly (another "no shit" moment).

I thought about doing that, but I wasn't sure they would do what they are designed to do configured like that. Brandon does awesome work. You shoulda seen what they were working on when I rolled in today. Im not sure if Im at liberty to say what it was, but it was pretty bad ass.

My birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks and had planned on going to Duluth, Mn. for the weekend to see the Blue Angles and see a friend of mine that I hunt with on the North Shore in Silver Bay.

Couple of years ago was on the Mississippi on a Saturday shooting Eagles and saw some smoke trails off on the horizon about 20 miles away. Set the lens to Infinity and when I got home went through them.

Know those birds anywhere. Found out where Blues where flying on Sunday and looked at Google Earth to try and figure out the best place to park my arse. It worked.

So I really don't need to go see them...

An hour or so ago finalized transportation and transfer for a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever that needs rehomed from Texas. Instead of going to see the BA will be driving a couple of hours to the NSDTR Club Region 2 Backyard Classic and picking up a year and a half Toller that needs a job. What a great birthday present, I can live with that and the hotel had no problems cancelling reservations. And I don't have to drive to Texas to get him which is an 18.5 hour drive each way. The Toller community is fantastic in many ways! The check will be in the mail tomorrow and worth every penny, will be hunting with a brace of Tollers this fall.

Hi my name is Jax and I need a job.

Mn. State Fair is famous for Deep Fried Twinkies. Just saying... They aren't scary either although they rank right up there with crack cocaine.

    BLUE ANGELS FTW!!!!!!!
My wife and I have been having this BLUE ANGELS >thunderbirds discussion for almost thirty years now. LOL. I keep trying to tell her "Ya, but the Blue Angels can land on an aircraft carrier" so................. win.
Thing is, we NEVER have a chance to see them. But were are close enough to Glendale to see the TBirds on occasion, and she grew up in an Airfarce town. :pout:

NAF El Centro is their winter home. When you stay on the base, they get pretty f'n annoying. The good thing is they only fly between 0800 and 1630 so it does quiet down by dinner.

Ah Cmon. We used to live in Surprise and our house was literally right under the flight path for Luke. We could see the pilots as they flew over our house, multiple times all day long. Never bothered us. We would wave at them, and they would wave back. Thats how low they were.
