I actually worked for a goat weed clearing business in high school for a couple weeks. Weirdest job I've had. I would load up in my bosses (friends neighbor) truck with his border collie (who was smarter than most people I've met) and we'd hit up 5-6 different spots all through the Bay Area. Walk around checking fences, making sure the water was full and checking on the goats. It was amazing to watch the guy work with his dog hearding them. Even had to stay in a random trailer by myself in Novato with no power for a night. Stopped working pretty quick after that, but definitely an experience.

Now my dad lives in Montana and had 8 baby goats this spring (first round of births at his place). Was telling about how he has to fix the males by putting a tight rubber band device around the berries and eventually on a couple of weeks they just fall off...just weird.

They do that with with bulls in Greece also. Getting the rubber band around a bulls junk is rather challenging.

Sure, it's more sporting. But here in America we're about efficiency.

    True talk.

Some electric fence posts and a castration band or three make an ultralight, adjustable height (tall) portable bipod.

Went hunting for piggly wigglies a few years back and made 3 sets so I could sit on my ass and pop porkers, being that it was the middle of the night I wanted some semblance of laid back, comfortable lounging while "hunting."

They work amazingly. Stable and cheap, plus I have a lifetime supply of castration bands from TSC. #winning

All legal btw. Private property, laser illuminated reticles on scopes (no NV). Pest removal.

God damn pigs stood us up that night.

Pigs are fucking smart dude, I know because I've spent numerous days hiking my fat ass through the hills of Cloverdale for nothing.

    Same.

    Except Colusa county.

Also I've raised meat hogs for like 6 years and even those dumb fuck pigs are smarter than my dogs.

They smelled my musk and didn't show. Literally there every night in the spot for the previous 3 weeks, then when the reaper shows up they flake. Fuck them.
