    So what did @stronghammer think about Texas?

    I agree with the "keep driving" recommendation on Lubbock. Weatherford to Fort Worth is nice, don't much care for Dallas, and East Texas is nice.

    I think Texas is awfully boring, honestly. DFW area was nice/busy, but not enough to make up for the rest of Texas. I didn't enjoy the overwhelming smell of oil when driving through the oil fields, but I did enjoy the mass amounts of wind turbines. I have never seen so many fields and cows in my life though. I'm almost positive I spotted Alabama from Texas because it's so flat.

    I saw your stomping grounds. Didn't get a chance to stop at Buccees? Idk if I spelled that right, but I saw it and it was a happening place. The DFW to the East border of Texas was much better than any other portion I saw. No offense, but I still wouldn't live there.

    Anybody else get any hail damage from the recent storm on 5/19? I've got about a dozen hits on my hood and a couple on the fenders and roof. My Prinsu absorbed a lot of hits without sustaining any damage. Also busted one of the "fake" vents on either side of my grill.
