well i told my dad i was gonna go take pics of the the truck and i came back and showed him the pics and he said, "wow those photos turned out awesome!"

and my mom said... where did you find the mud? and i said.... "a few places heres the pics!" haha she liked em... and she said to my dad, "you let him go off roading???" and was silent lol but she said it in a joking manner.. so they were both cool with it!

I wouldn't believe that they were partiularly "cool with it". They just didn't know. Had they known beforehand they'd have been worried, and then been upset with you for getting them worried. They were only laughing because they were so relieved that you didn't get hurt and wreck the truck. It's like laughing when you hear a bullet, because then you know it didn't hit you.

I know this from both sides. I had a 4WD when I was 18, and I went through this with my own kids about 15 years back when they were teenagers.

It's like the first time I came home from college & told my mom, "We went rock climbing and then rapelled down this 200 foot rock on a rope." If she'd known in advance, he'd have shit a brick.

You'll really figure all this out when you someday have kids of your own.

lol yeah i know but now i think theyre cool with it. i just had a bad experience but that was over a year ago and its amazing hom much more responsible i am when it come sto wheeling.. or how much mor responsible i THINK i am
