Does it have one of those rockledge or automate alarms installed by the dealership?

when things act weird, sometimes just a reset does the trick.
wont hurt to try. disconnect the battery for 10 minutes then
    reconnect.

edit: if this doesn't help then disconnect it for the night.
check it in the morning just before you take it in.

For security puposes...assuming it's not in a garage...If you leave your fob out of range and the truck starts it's as good ass leaving the keys in the ignition. If the brains thinks it's on then it can be driven until it's out of gas with no fob in range as far as I know.

I had window tint applied today. Ceramic based on metallic. I've used this tint on 3 other vehicles. No issues ever.

I can't imagine this would have contributed to anything however.

A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
I had a similar issue with my OR but I had a portable power pack charging off the 12V outlet that some how was back feeding the ECU so my truck would not shut off. It even managed to lock me out of my truck once by making the truck think it was on when it was actually off.

Probably not it, but worth a shot anyway.... Parents have a 2017 Prius. If you do not hold your foot on the brake, when you push the power button to shut down the vehicle, it will stay powered up. My 2008 model is the same way. Moved it one day to get the lawn mower out, and didn't put my foot on the brake when I got out and powered down. Sat there, radio playing, air on, etc. for a couple of hours while I mowed the yard. Lessons learned........
