quick spray detailer

im curious what everyone else uses for a quick detailer?
i just bought my first black taco and i know it is going to suck to keep clean, i figure that if i use a quick detailer on it in between big wax jobs it may help keep it looking cleaner.
i keep hearing about the chemical guys products, has anyone used their stuff?

 

I'm a big fan of Zaino products. In their line-up they have a gloss enhancer that is their quick detailer. If you go with their products and follow their instructions you will be amazed with the results especially with a black vehicle.

I'm a big fan of Mothers products. They have a spray detailer, tire shine, and a interior VLR cleaner. All of these products work very well. I also use P21s twice a year and that is a professional grade wax that work very well.

Of all the stuff I've tried I love the Turtle Wax spray detailer made for black vehicles. Works great and is super easy to use.

 

I have a black truck also, your best bet is a rinslesss wash not a quick detailer. The rinseless wash works way better and doesn't cause as much swirls etc. It's just like washing your truck except you don't need the hose and just give it a quick dry after. If my trucks really dirty I'll do a full 2 bucket wash and rinse. Other than that the rinsless wash is the way to go. Some have a wax depending on what your looking for. Black is high maintenance and requires a lot of care to avoid swirls.

chemical guys is great. The shine and protection from the poly stuff is nuts. Ive used just about eveything. This is MY favorite combo for silver.

Blitz acrylic spray every couple months(if you can hold off) and V7 after every wash in between or whenever. Deep wet paint and shine for days. You can even layer carnauba on top of blitz if you want to get nuts too.

 

Also, since you have a black truck i would consider a THOROUGH wash/clay/polish then use an acylic sealant on your paint so you know it is protected. Scratches and swirls will be a thing of a past once you get an acrylic shell on there and refresh every 4-6 months.

Something like Klasse. has been around for years and you can layer the shit out of it. Super durable and well worth the $20. Ive had the same bottle for years. A little goes a long way
