Does anybody know if the CBI 2nd gen brackets interfere with a snorkel?

SOS is a hood hinge mounted system so these should suit your needs. If you want a lower profile you could also look at SDHQ.

I don't run them, I just have knowledge from my research. From what I have learned none of these should have issues with LED 2x2 Pods attached.

    A thing or two...
I installed Cali Raised brackets, side projecting pods, and harness on my 08 Prerunner last week.

On my brackets, the powder coat was flaking out of the bolt holes. On the driver side, the bracket mounted but was so tight it had no adjustment and was trying to deform the fender holes when bolted down. I drilled the bracket holes larger to fix the issue. On the passenger side, only two of the bracket holes would line up with the holes in the fender. I cut the third bracket bolt hole into a slot so all 3 bolts could be used and allow for adjustment. I painted the lower half of both brackets with self-etching primer and bed liner spray, and it blended seamlessly with the powder coat. I plan to take them off some weekend and make a slot to zip tie the light cable to.

The harness that from Cali Raised was pretty poor quality as well. Both light connectors were the same length, so the driver side basically had an extra 4-6 feet of wire on it. I cut it down to get rid of the extra wire and found that the connections where the harness splits to each light isn't soldered. It's just a cheap, single crimp, so I soldered it up and fixed that. The wire going to the battery was too short by about a foot, so I soldered wire from what I cut off the driver side lead to extend it. Finally, there's no reason for them to run 3 wires through the firewall for the switch. With a little forethought and planning, only 1 wire needs to go through the firewall to the relay. When I get around to redoing my accessory wiring with a proper fuse panel, I'll be fixing this issue.

One last thing to note is that the original post says the Cali Raised brackets come with a zip tie cutout. Also, pictures on Cali Raised website show 2nd gen brackets both with and without the zip tie cutout. The brackets that I received didn't have the zip tie cutout, so it's probably safe to say that they either never actually had it or stopped doing it.

Interesting. Definitely some good feedback. It sounds like you had to do some significant modification to get this to work on your truck. I know it's a little late, but were you able to contact caliraised to make them aware of the issues you were having? They can't correct the problem if they don't know about it.

I contacted Cali Raised about the fitment issues. Their response was that they had never heard of anyone having issues, and they asked for pictures. It took me a few days to get pictures because I'd put the truck back together and rainy days. I never heard from them again after I emailed the photos.

Talking with another forum member recently, they said they had similar issues with their Cali Raised brackets and only ran 2 bolts on the passenger side. They said they know of at least one other forum member doing the same, so it sounds like an existing issue. I don't think the other two members contacted Cali Raised.

I do. Just put it on the back burner once I started house hunting. But now that I'm getting my house keys soon. Once I settle in, im leaning towards Relentless Fab brackets. Great post by the way.
