I made a trip to the fab shop up the street. Ready to put a hitch on and noticed the angle brackets are the same. Need to get one fabbed up for the other side. Idiots!

Does anyone in here have a spare metal sleeve for the center bolt bushing on the steering rack from energy suspension.

The kit comes w two sleeves for that bolt and I lost the one I need. It's the one people have to drill out w a 9/16 drill bit to fit the early model tacomas.

Got my CVs. Only need a few bushings and I'm good to go for the overhaul.

$100 each, $40(X2) for the high angle boots, $50 shipping. $330 total plus $150 core charge. Probably gonna keep the old ones and rebuild, sell one and keep one as spare. Shipping them back would be pretty expensive due to weight. Pricey compared to Napa ones, but are much better quality as they are oem rebuilds.

I recommend welding a bung for an oil line while you are there. You know that someday you'll get a turbo!

I need to replace mine soon too. I have a slow seep for now. I'm not really looking forward to it since the front diff is heavy and awkward.

I replace the transmission pan gasket because it started leaking. While I was in there I replaced trans filter. Anybody ever seen pink rtv?

How difficult are inner tie rods? Done a few outer tie rods before but never an inner. Any special tools required or anything? Went to do an allignment check to see how bad things were after the new ball joints and was told my inner tie rod had play in it. I plan to try and check things out before I order parts but I wanted to see how difficult it was to do. 1995 2.7 4x4

I just used a big crescent wrench and they came loose fairly easily. There's plenety of room in there to mess with them.

I might, I can check tonight for you.

It's Toyota's OEM FIPG. Saw it when I was taking my ADD tube/actuator off my old front diff and putting it on the new one this past weekend.
