Was curious if any stops there...

Thanks! Ugh- hate eating dust all day too! (Check your air and cabin filters, lol!) I know it will be hot in/around Moab in July. May only camp there one night; hotel the rest. Bringing (2) 5 gallon scepter cans of water, plus coolers.

Yeah- I believe I need to get a back country permit at North Rim. Was checking to see if anyone has been there.

I believe it is White Rim-- goes around the "Isle in the sky"

I read North Rim average July high is about 78degrees. Low 60's at night. Planning to camp there. 1-2 nights. I believe you are correct with elevation- I think it is 8,200 feet or so! When I looked at the temp there last week it was 35 degrees!

    :)

I think I have earned the rear bumper. Just need to work up the funds after this trip and another coming up to Florida.

I'll let you see the work I'm getting done, and tell you through price privately for his sake. You can afford it.

Ask him if he can help with the shipping. Mine is the Litchfield and comes with a sky view, annex and floor.

My wife bought a dehydrater and did all kinds of fruits, ground beef, not sure what else, but rice and grits are light and easy also.

thanks @TacoAlaMode . so you have 2 tents? my next purchase was going to be a front bumper and winch but I'm seriously considering a rtt and rack first. we need to hurry up and have another meet i can make it to. I'll bring my wife along and after she sees all the trucks and hears some stories I can probably get the go ahead to finish the build.

I have a nice dent in my transmission skid now. I can only imagine if I had the drop down version instead of a flat skid.

Worth exhaust on University. If you can determine where your transfer case skid will mount, carry it so they can see where/how it needs to be routed. I didn't have mine and ended up having to cut a good bit of my tcase skid.

I still remember most of that process. It sucked.
