I don't even have a bike so I'll just man the beer station.

I'll be right there with you. If we go to the lake I can at least bring a fishing rod and make it look like I'm doing something besides drinking beer.

If my bike is done ill bring both bikes and someone is welcome to ride hers. Shes 5'9" so its a large frame mens bike so unless youre short it should be a pretty close fit.

I thought about the aluminum tub but wasn't going to save enough weight so I said fuck it. It will have brakes so the extra 20 pounds wound matter. I think

I need to get a new reel, I bought spin cast last time and im not a fan. Im going back to bait cast. I have a pretty decent spincast if anyone has a spare baitcast they want to trade.

Haha yeah I joined a while ago to learn how to fix something on the truck and have just lurking and gathering knowledge. That and geeking out at some of the rigs people have built up on here. Figured now that the DFW group had gotten so big I would jump in and try to make some of the meet ups. And probably a good call on the distillery.

How much does the box itself weigh? Aluminum should be half the weight of the steel one...
Bro... its brand new... what chew got?
Bass Pro Shop Turney Plus Baitcast Reel (never been used)
This is a sweet reel! I don't know why i never used this reel. Its super smooth and would probably cast forever far. I was kinda hesitant to put this up here... Kinda want to put it on a rod and go fishing now...

So have y'all decided on a place to have the next DFW meet that I probably won't be able to attend but will say I will try and then can't at the last minute?
