Thanks everyone that seems to be holding up better I know it looks like a mess still but it's not leaking as much

 

Man I would turn the heat up if you could. Good that its holding though

 

So when I did the leak check again on the car after welding it's still leaks a little bit but it's not near as much as it was still it won't hold even 1 pound of pressure and it still dies if I get into the boost any at all plus when I let off the throttle this is what it's always been doing it has a big whoosh sound at least with the leak checker I can just go through and look for leaks until I've got it all if that's the only thing causing this

 

Man if you weren't so far away I'd offer to weld it up

 

Grind an area and practice again. Keep doing so until the weld looks more evenly overlaid.

That should work really well on the 2.7. I had initially thought about going with that turbo but it was a bit out of my price range. There is a fair amount of recommendations on CT for that turbo.

 

If you email Kirk, he can also do custom compressor shroud milling. If you so wanted. @RedLantern had his done.

 

Haven't read much on extra turbo work....what would that do

 

How much power are you second gen guys making on safe(?) boost? Starting to feel cramped in my lil old firsty. Been lifting again so I'm fuckin' huge and shit

 

I'm using deleen 650's. Getting them to work on gas was very difficult. On e-85 they are pretty hassle free. 12 psi should have sent your afr's to like 17:1. Sounds like you need smaller than stock injectors!

 

Haha no I was telling the AEM to tell the stockers to add 23% more fuel and the poor things couldn't keep up at 100% duty.
My Deleens crapped out and wont respond to any fuel changes, I removed 92% fuel and they still ran at 8:1 lol.

I really wish the decapped stock ones worked out. I think the issue was that I had decapped two different styles (3 of each). I'm thinking the different styles flow differently, and that's why im sending them out to be flowed. Say A style flows better than B style or something like that.
