    Sigh it's that time of year. I almost killed this guy earlier when he decided to split me and the car next to me, as I was getting ready to change lanes

    I hate that. As a motorcyclist, I consider lane splitting to be one of the most dangerous things you can do on a bike. People don't notice you enough when you're in your damn lane, let alone when you ignore the lanes completely because you're too impatient to wait for an opening to pass. I know that it's legal in some places, but I still think it's stupid. Especially when you see the speeds some people do it at.

    Especially when the people doing it aren't usually skilled riders. Also, bugs hurt

    @mach1man001

    Hey Rob, is there a powered version of the ProEFX mirrors with heat but no turn signal?

    Hrm...not sure I want to wire in turn signals to the mirrors too and it would bug the hell out of me if they were there but non-functional.

    Wiring them wasn't bad and the heat is well worth it especially if you don't park inside a garage.

    Jason's right, there is no version like that. Just together. Just get them with the turns. Simple to tap into to wire them up

    I've already got heat on my OEM style mirrors thanks to the kit from @Up2NoGood. I was hoping for an easy swap to something flip-up for towing.

    I can hear my girlfriend now...
    Her: "More truck crap?"
    Me: "But sweetheart, it's going to make things so much safer while towing the camper."

    I'll let you know. I'm thinking about it right now but between the lift, wheels, tires, I just dropped a buch of my "Fun money" into the truck.

    Bugs hurt, but I would be more concerned with stones that car tires kick in the air (especially on a highway). I had one hit me with a riding jacket on and felt it - shirtless would of been a big deal. God forbid you do spill, asphalt is going to show no mercy to your awesome tan.

    Want to test out a set? I still have my odd ball chrome ones still? Odd ball because they are chrome with turns and no heat. Never made it into production!

    Road rash hurts! I've wiped out on dirt bikes on gravel plenty of times as a kid and I can't imagine laying a bike down on asphalt at highway speed without gear.
    They're pretty easy to wire in.

    Could definitely give them a try, see if they'll help as much as I hope while I've got that monster on my bumper. If they do work out better than my clip-ons (and I suspect they will), that might convince me to buy. I've got a trip coming up in four weeks. I'm sure I can make my way down to meet you and grab them before then.
