Well i hate to reply after reading exactly 1 page... Im sure answers have been given probably better than the one i am proposing...

    A. Take to a body shop and say "Fix it!" and get a quote.

    B. if A it to expensive i would find the correct size sheet metal plug/ or over drill and use a bigger rivet. Due to weakness i would apply a small bead of 3m 4200 around the bolts to seal/glue it to the sheet metal.

I just wanted to stand up for rooftop mounted lights. I like my headache rack mounted floods!

Having the lights as high up as possible is definitely more effective at lighting the road, but they'd get destroyed where I wheel.

Probably missed it somewhere in the past pages but anyone mention Relentless LED bar mounts as the bolt on option? 3rd gens use the same roofrack right with the prethreaded holes?

EDIT; Just searched the thread and didn't see any mention....

I'd just fix the holes however and get the Relentless mounts and call that shit fixed.

You would think but I seem to find what you are experiencing more and more with instructions these days. Seems they are hiring dumbasses to write instructions for products anymore. I've had to throw instructions out a few times and just install something on my own.

Yeah, install instructions can be interpreted in different ways by different levels mechanical ability. Rule of thumb is research, ask lots of questions, and use the manuals as a guide.
