Write instructions not so they can be understood, but that they cannot be mis-understood.

In caliraisedled's defense, in the install video they drilled the pilot hole with a step bit, and then used a regular 25/64 bit to finish it off. OP says he used the step bit the whole time resulting in the oblong holes.

Put in some bondo, sand it, paint it, return the light bar

" I began the process with a buddy, we marked which spot would be best to position the brackets... Marked them... Then used a center punch to create an initial hole for drilling...
Began to make the hole with a $40 unibit I purchased from a local hardware store!
from there, went to finish the hole with the same 25/64 bit used in the installation video... sure enough, no matter how slow I went, the holes came out oblong/ovalish (ALL FOUR OF THEM)"

I hate to say it... but CaliRaised has the WORST instructions ever. Their light bars are high quality but seriously their instructions are a complete joke. Pissed me off that i had to re-tap and retrofit my mounting

Go to a body shop and get them to try install the riv nuts or another version of crimp nut of the same size with a proper tool and hope for the best as there is varying qualities of these fasteners.

This is why every aftermarket company has the disclaimer. Even if they make a perfect product there needs to be a little mechanical prowess by the installer to not fuck up the installation. After all, we are talking about drilling four holes, that's it.

    Mall landscaping pin stripes.
OP in two months - "I keep getting a weird whistling sound coming from the top of the front windows, anyone else have this problem?"

That is going to end up being one expensive light bar in the end.
