The ultimate headlight upgrade H4 (not LED or HID)

I used a simple garden hose. A power washer is asking for trouble...thats just me. The harness worked great when it worked.

 

Did this upgrade with the 100/90w bulbs. My cutoff is a little blurry because my lenses are starting to get hazy. Very happy with the output. Will likely be happier after I restore my lenses.

The phone camera doesn't pick up light output very well.

Good price, but "Made in China" makes me nervous.

The ones I run (currently out of stock) have German markings, with which I'm more comfortable.

 

How do you like upgrade from stock?

 

Very pleased with it. Highly recommended.

Note that I installed both the ultimate headlight upgrade and ultimate foglight upgrade. Both provide good improvement over stock.

Those Nightbreaker bulbs are what I have listed in the 'other bulbs' recommendations section at the end of the thread. One of the best stock wattage upgrade bulbs available.

However the Nightbreakers are not even remotely close in output to the high powered Osram halogens that are the main topic of this thread.

 

Some numbers comparing Nightbreakers vs Osram 100/90w:
Nighbreakers 1650/1000 lumens
Osrams 2900/1700 lumens

I just ordered the harness for 2 H4 bulbs. anyone have a link to the bulbs themselves? I already have a set of new headlights.

Am I missing anything?

Those look like possible Chinese knock offs, shipping from China with a different box and way too cheap compared to what the bulbs cost.

Be sure to buy the authentic German made version, not questionable stuff shipped from China, especially when buying on eBay.

I sent you the link on mobile and said 5 units remaining, I didn't see they were temporarily sold out. I do now.

In your last link it says those bulbs are made in China and uses the same main picture as the other questionable Chinese version. The Osrams are made in Germany. Seller also has very little transaction history, so hard to say exactly what you are getting. That's the problem with eBay.

You might message the seller I originally posted and see when they expect them back in stock. I usually buy a few sets at a time so purchasing new ones isn't ever urgent.
