Went to Home depot over a year ago to fix my wind noise. It was unbearable on windy days. People would seriously not ride in my truck. I've driven it at highway speeds in 40 mph winds out here in the desert for over a year now and haven't heard a thing. So simple to do

Sounds like you get a good price. Oil change + rotation + "multi point inspection" = $80 at my local dealer. I can go synthetic for $30 and 10 minutes of time in my garage, and $7 for a rotation elsewhere. That's awesome that they covered your rebuild.

Did the toolbox mod today, pretty sound toolbox. Easy to mount (used kobalt's j hook mounting system) Have to say its difficult to get it good and tight without it sliding just a hair. Probably going to try a Deezee or betterbuilt kit to remount it.

Took a half day from work to get the wheels I picked up from @yazmatic , and had TW Expressed to me with the HUGE help of @DoubleRGirl. Also picked up TPMS sensors from @Taco Suave a little while back, so got those installed as well.

The truck is my daily driver, so chose to go with a tire that would give me a "nicer" ride than the more aggressive ones.

Rims are Pro Comp Extreme. The tires are the Firestone Destination, but I went with the LE because I wanted the "nicer" ride. They are 265/70/17.

Left the caps off the rims. Think I like it better, even though I didn't see what they would look like with them on. Gotta figure out what to do about the center on the back wheels now.

Installed my CoverKings today. Seats were immaculate Tuesday morning when I spilled my coffee in my lap on the way to work. Not at all pissed when these were waiting on the porch when I got home that night :boom:

That was my other thought too. I'll try that as well. I also hear a lot of wind under the dash. It sounds like there is wind leaking from the fresh air intake or something.

My only real complaint about the Tacoma is how noisy it is. Between the wind and the plastic rattles/squeaks it drives me nuts. The next thing is to insulate behind and under the rear seats. The road noise is pretty bad.

I have a fumoto valve if anyone wants it. I don't like how close it is to the skid. Even with real skids it makes me nervous that I could hit it. PM me and i'll send it out.

And, just like that, it's gone.

Got bored and decided to do 05-11 to 12-15 front end swap. Looks good. I guess I should get a hood and filler tomorrow and complete it. Super easy btw took like 30 mins. I'll have to figure out how to fill the gap of my bumper and under the grillie. Maybe build another bumper ...or sick ass light bar. Or modify this one....so many options...

Probably sick ass light bar so I can go swap out when I get tired of one look.
