So I am thinking of changing out my spacer lift to the ICON coilovers for beach driving. I was told that the ride is incredible, (and I totally trust the off road specialists suggestion on this), but was wondering if anyone has daily experience with this lift system and wanted to hear pros and cons before I jump in. I may not get lots of responses to this...but any response would be appreciated.

You might want to rethink this part.

Look into comparable coilovers. Some have better collapsed, extended lengths, some have more travel, some are made with different metals that rust easily while others are not. Icon uses digressive coil rates so they'll be stiff at slower speeds while King and Fox and TRD suspension uses progressive coil rates where they loosen up at speed.

The truck is going to be used mainly on fishing trips to the beach so rust is a huge concern. Regardless of the brand that I pick would you have the coils and shocks undercoated? (I already had the truck undercoated and would probably have to pay a little extra to re-spray the lift components).

I'm not sure if that's okay for the coilovers. Maybe there's a special coating you can purchase. Not entirely sure to be honest.

Well since we can post anything here I feel obligated to say that the FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

The only kind of run that I can accomplish at this point in my life is a good diarrhea run. Would that count?

I'd avoid icon. Have seen a lot of poor feedback on their products and customer support /tech advice lately

I've had icons with their 1.5 AAL for a couple years and it's felt good to me.. Any thing in particular about them , failure of parts?

There have been a few people that had leaks from Icon, but they didn't cut the shock mount
