    Washington, Oregon, and Cali would make a great tiny country. Most of the US has a poor opinion of CALifornia. But I'm certain those three states could control the world. If you cut it and left it as is... there's so much farm and ag in Ca, and the military power lol...

    I think the poor opinion of CA comes from the strict gun laws and high cost of living. But yes, the agriculture there is far beyond anywhere else in the US. Oregon has a lot of great beer, but also large homeless populations in certain areas, which puts burden on tax payers. I'm not sure what's going on in Washington.

    But if California became its own country they would cut all the water off from the food farmers and tax the gas from cattle and dairy till those ranchers left for Arizona or Texas, and the only thing they would have left is grapes. And nobody but france would be interested, and france has enough grapes of their own, because nobody gives a crap about wine, the rest of us drink beer and whiskey.
    And they hate the military, so they would cut all funding for that, and what they would wind up doing is just being a bunch of hippy losers sitting around in a giant drum circle.
