    Oh but I wish

Colorado would probably be my dream place, so much recreational activity potentials, hiking, trails, snowboarding/skiing, biking, etc

Yeah, I really wanted to move to Utah or Colorado for all the outdoor opportunities. But I don't want to deal with the cold, so I'll just have to make trips to those places instead haha

I'm planning to move back to Texas eventually. But that's a while from now so that might change.

I wouldn't hesitate to get one. The only other bike I would consider would be a 500exc

If the 500 came with super moto wheels I would be all over it. I've had/have enough dirt only bikes. Looking for a commuter/fun bike.

I have a 300xcw that was/is my race bike but crashed and started working more so haven't touched it in a while . Also have my dad's 450xcw I was thinking of super motoing but rather one of those

My current dual sport/commuter is an old xr600r
    20170516_175903.jpg

And my original big bike. 250sxf with the tacoma in its original glory before I hacked it up lol

Just buy sm wheels :notsure: and it could be a commuter, has lights and everything needed as well

The 690 isn't offered in sm trim factory anymore.

That said the 701 is a sweet bike

    500exc -58hp and 250lbs dry
    690e - 67hp and 310lbs dry

Both are great bikes. I think the 500 wins in versatility and the weight difference will be huge. Picking up "big" bikes suck. But can't go wrong either way.

2017 701s have the updated LC4 which gives +6 hp and +5tq, plus is smoother. The 690 enduro didn't get the update.

Not that easy in Nevada. Wish it was and also want to keep my 300 how it is. The weight doesn't bother me. I already ride the pig of the 600. Thinking I'll hold out and save for the 701 or the ducati scrambler for all the bells and whistles that come with it.

I also know people in Vegas that have converted dirt bikes to street legal supermotos if you need to know what to do. Fairly simple from what they've told me.

I didnt like white plastidip. It ends up showing all the dirt and it doesn't wash out of it

Yup I tried it on the belly fairings on my old Ninja and it was too textured so it caught all the road grime, didn't clean well. Maybe if you used the Plasti-Dip clear coat? I've never used the clear coat stuff though so I dunno if it actually does anything.

Im gonna get the clear coat today after work and put 3ish coats on. I love the look but I know its gonna show dirt bad but beats 70ish for new plastic if I can find full white ones. My side panels are holding up very good for being dropped numerous times
