Looks like EVERYONE else has backed out....for a variety of reasons.....:pout:

90% chance of heavy rain in the Attica Indiana area on Saturday/Sunday. :rain: Not 100% sure I want to be there all day in pouring rain. The place can be a flood zone. It's an old sand quarry with a creek running through the middle of it. :mudding:

If we go, I'll be leaving the house around 05:30. I'd imagine you'll be coming via I 64 to I 65 north (???) If so, we could meet up just north of the bridge (@ Sellersburg Exit McDonalds) (exit 8 or 9 I believe) I'd shoot for Micky D's by 6AM or so. 3 hours from there to Badlands. The group won't be hitting the trails until 10AM. (Gates/office doesn't open until 9AM)

With the weather forecast, it's still a toss up. I'll make a decision by tomorrow, but not looking real favorable at the moment

It could be interesting! I've been by the Expo Center a few times this week. Watching 'em set up the course. It's supposed to rain off and on...Nothing like going fast on wet pavement!

Link to 4X? (phone # will do) My "plan" fell apart on Trail Gear sliders @ bargain price through 4Wheel Parts. limited inventory @ good price and I dicked around too long. Now they ain't cheap any more. So....back to looking for a deal.

    Nothing against mud...

    Nothing against rain...

What concerns me is, the best trails in this place is a creek bed that tends to flash flood.

When we still had hopes of our group being there, we could deal with it and keep going. The group that we'll meet up with likes to go 200' and stop, wait 10 minutes then go another 50', then stop and talk about it.....and so on. I guess it's a combination of issues that has me sort of skeptical...

Talk to them, maybe they'll shoot us a deal shipping both of them together and save us some $ on shipping.

It's only $50 shipping. Definitely leading the pack at that price.

I need tree hunned doll hairs first, then I'll decide that. I would probably have them shipped to work since they'll arrive on a pallet most likely and we have tow motors n such.

I put in my parents home address (back in Corbin) and it was $9 more than shipping them to my place or to Lexington. I'm still waiting to hear back from their PM. If they don't reply back the beginning of next week, I'm going to give them a call. If they're not going to be done by the meet in June, I may hold off until after the meet to order some for Harlan. Longer I can hold off, the more money I can save/blow.

I don't have a problem having them delivered here to work, then I can haul them to Everett's for everyone and we can drink beer and act like we know how to weld sliders

It'd probably be the same cost to haul them to Eastern, KY as it would be to South Eastern. I'd say Louisville or here in Lex is the cheapest route.

That's the price to Lex as well. I'd have to paint them before I welded them anyway. Unless you want to do that for me as well too

    HAHA!

I was thinking paint after welding. I don't want splatter on fresh paint.

    I could be wrong...

Primer/paint. Then weld. Then paint welds/frame.
