there's a difference in stupid decisions, and financially stupid decisions. sometimes financially stupid decisions have to be chosen, they're gonna suck, but they have to be chosen to get you in a better path down the road.

 

True, sometimes financially stupid decisions could cost you your shirt though

 

they could, but sometimes they can make you some major bank too. I've always always always played it safe financially, never once risked much money with a not for sure decision. Guess I got that mentality from my dad, he's a tightwad hahaha

lmao. Probably another 4k a year. which MAY cover the interest over 20 years. But it will help you get a job you don't hate. maybe. life is tough.

Anything to be more competitive, eventually that masters may let you rank higher. My mom started as the lowest position in her company and moved all the way to national director of internal audit facing a vp position, it can happen. She worked her ass off too

 

lol in my opinion, no. if company pays for it, then yes.

 

masters in engineering is almost pointless, FE and PE are what matter.

Invest in masters on your own to be better candidate on paper for job that kinda wishes you had one?

Try to get employer to pay for masters that they would know isn't relevant to the job you do and then you'd have to stay another 2 years?

 

In the MEP field yes. In design, no.

PE in design don't mean shit.

 

yeah in my field PE is all that matters. if I change jobs, PE AND masters will matter.
