If someone was blabbing about it to some random passerby at expo then I highly doubt it's a secret.

Bummer! I know how frustrating it can be. Especially when you don't get feedback.

I have to say, although it's been frustrating waiting and having missing parts and waiting some more. Having my cabrack on but not being able to haul the things I need to because I need both racks to accomplish that. Zack has always replied to my pm's with 24-48 hours. I have never been ignored or felt I was being snubbed off. I have always gotten the impression that he is a generally all around good guy that has bitten off far more than he can chew. And although I have thought about going front runner with the Tundra I plan to get next year, I'm pretty sure I'll just wait for the Prinsu D.S. rack. Just my thoughts.

Although he was a bit slow at times, it's obvious that Zach cares a great deal about his customers. He gave me a free wind deflector because the rack I bought used had a cutout and I didn't want to run a light bar, he wouldn't even take payment for shipping. I can't say anything negative about him or my rack and I'm sure he isn't delaying anyone's order on purpose.

I agree he needs to work out these manufacturing delays but at some point it's out of his control and he's at the mercy of whatever shop is doing the cutting or powder coating.

Sometimes when you ask the same question you get the same response because there's no update.

It is obvious that most of you guys have never worked in or around the fabrication industry.

Zack doesn't have his own shop where he is churning these out. He is at the mercy of 3-5 others businesses on his end. He is dealing wit at least 2 material suppliers, his local laser cutter and the powder coating company he uses. Some delays are inevitable when you throw that many people into the mix.

I personally have a small business like Zack does. I can tell you for sure that what ever you guys are dealing with as a customer is ten times worse on the other side of the coin. He has orders piling up on one side and has a supplier that is most likely backed up as well. Not to mention he also works a full time job. I have been in his shoes it sucks to have orders piling up and you are stuck waiting on a particular part or something fill them with.

Patience is a virtue guys. Zack is a one man show and a jam up guy from what I gather of him. Cut him some slack.

Sure you do, it's at the laser cutter. I think the issue is your expectations, it's a small company and any delay from one fab shop might cause him to miss his window in the next one, etc...

If you wanted a rack shipped to you the same day you order it your mistake was not getting a rack from some big company that was already in stock.

I don't understand you at all. You keep throwing the same fit and never do anything to resolve the situation. Just get your money back and move on. The incessant sulking and wingeing makes you look like a drongo.

Finally installed the front runner dual jerry can mount and ARB awning.

For those wondering, the front runner jerry can mount does work with the rack. I had to adjust the spacing of the crossbars a bit and bought 1" 1/4 carriage bolts, washers and nylon nuts to make it work. Overall, I'm super happy with how it came out!

"Parts are still in line at the laser cutter" is a legitimate response in the fabrication world bud. That goes right along with "Parts are out for powder coat"...

His laser cutter could have a 500,000 part order in que ahead of his order. That kind of thing happens in the real world. I have had this happen to me and I have been the cause of it happening to other people at my local laser cutter. I did a 22,000 part run last year that took 2 laser cutting shops month to fill for me while they had other orders piling up on them.

Machinery can only run at so many inches per minute. Power coat takes a set time to bake. There are more people waiting on other parts besides just you.

Don't want to wait on a custom order?
Cancel your order and buy a cookie cutter rack like a Front Runner or a Baja Rack.

If you're so disgruntled, get a refund and buy a rack in stock.

Why doesn't the guy just order a crossbar from Amazon?
