Called them this morning, $300 for front gears, $220 for rear gears.

If you pull your thirds and drop them off your looking at $1200 if they use the current bearings, or $1800 if you do all new bearings. (after tax)

The price is pretty much nothing. It's CAD. Mostly covers their planning of the trip (they're spending weeks pre-running the routes to make sure they're clear, organizing camping locations, etc) but they're also giving everyone that comes a "parting gift" which I am not sure what it is.

$120(ish) for a multiple day guided tour through Canada seems like a steal to me.

Likewise. To keep it fair they didn't tell anyone EXACTLY when it would go live.

I about had a heart attack when I saw I missed a message saying it was posted a couple hours prior.

Stoked - just got the truck back. Vibration, alignment and steering issues all fixed. I have a feeling the vibration was due to wheel bearings but hard to say since I didn't drive it more than 50 feet after they were installed.

Auburn Offroad's work seems good. There is a shit ton more steering sensitivity but after installing poly steering rack bushings, Whiteline bushings, LBJs and inner tie rods, that was my expectation. Plus I'm rolling around on old tires that got worn uneven from alignment so I need to scrub them off a little on road. They did a great job on the TC cam alignment tabs.

I need to regear next and get rear lockers.

I need to get around to installing my poly steering rack bushings. Been sitting on the shelf for over a year now...

good to hear. I think I've heard some mixed reviews in the past. But thinking about Brian's points about mule it would be great to have a good alternative.

Those mixed reviews were probably from me.

Maybe they've figured their issues out, but you couldn't pay me to take my vehicle back to them and deal with their dishonesty and bullshit.

for Mule I think they just have new and younger mechanics right? It's not just Joe and the main guy with the past race team experience. Forgot his name. But I've had no big complaints about Mule. Just shop rate is high and I think I've been charged for more hours than it should have taken.

I have heard the same thing from a few people now that the hours on the final invoice seem to be longer than it should be. I've personally have never had any work done by them.

I think one of the things that kinda suck is they have good gear but it's marked up to much, I can find the same stuff from other Washington shops cheaper. Also it would be cool if they refreshed their floor from time to time I don't think they've really brought in anything new in the past 1.5 years

I've never had Mule do any work for me, so I cannot really comment on that. They've found their niche, and that niche is keeping them busy. Good for them.

That said, if I need something small (or NOW) they're still my first option. I'd rather support them than some random retailer in Bumfuck, OK or something. But, on larger items I can almost always get 10-15% off of MSRP and free (or cheap) shipping with no sales tax. That's when I'll buy online.

That was with regard to Auburn Offroad. I've typed up my story about them too many times.

However, I've not typed it as many times as they lied to me.

They did an excellent job on my ARB compressor install behind the rear seat and charged I feel appropriate time for the install but I did buy the compressor on a group buy here.

Looking at doing my suspension next and will likely buy online and install myself perhaps with some help from TW peeps to save about a thousand on install and taxes.

If you're free on week days I'd be down to help with some suspension. I don't know anyone about leaf springs, but I can knock out some UCAs and coil overs pretty quick.

The weather is too nice to be wrenching on weekends. Got camping to do!

I second this. Week days are possible. Weekends are a no go. Between work demands/wants and trips it's easier to have free time on a week day. Happy to help though.

Although if I have to drive to the skagit valley there will be a charge of Taqueria LaBamba.
