    My dad.

He is really into the look of the Long Travelled trucks. He thought the Total Chaos Tundra was the coolest thing he has seen.

I was going to get a $1k-$4k platform truck that we would get the money from my grandmas house and car. BUT on paper and in reality its cheaper to LT my current and DD truck.

I told him the gistics of Long Travel... He is thinking about it. I just want him to know that its not a bad thing to do.

He has said that he would like the look more if the PreRunner bumper wouldnt show so much body and raditor... same with my mom.

Any hints? Please dont start with that crap a few weeks ago... Please keep it clean.... PLEASE

    Lots.
Where would you use LT to it's abilities in AL? I'm not hating at all Lents, you know that. I've never been to AL but I thought there was just a bunch of trees and mud lol

So what are you asking? It might just be me but it just seems like its not clear to me. Is it trying to get them to start with a platform truck or your truck?

Of course Nick. I undertsand what your saying. I get that question asked alot. But I can go to the beaches, dunes, open fields, etc. I can manage to have fun with the Long Travel. Since im not too fond of mud, I like dry stuff more... more challenging to me.

Its alright. My dad had the idea of getting a platform truck for me to LT and work on BUT its going to cost almost 3x as much as it would just to put a LT kit on my truck now.

So you want to convince him its a better idea to do your current truck? Well if I was your dad just the money alone would convince me.

But damaging your daily driver would be 3x the hassle over damaging your project truck

    Care to explain......

Like I would like to Lt my current truck, but I know my dad wants a couple better reasons to get it done. I told him I will be paying for all of it so he was estatic about that part haha.

It will be more on road than offroad. Theres many places to ride but its limited.
Sounds like its going back to the way it was a few weeks ago... Thats why I hate posting these type threads on here... Everyone gets on my case.

I have a feeling that if you do go LT you will regret it.

    that said,

Maybe get All Pro's LT since it doesnt sit as wide.

I am not familiar with any of the other threads or anything but I can guess what they are about lol. I am not trying to be a dick man but anytime a thread like this comes up there are gonna be problems. I mean having money is one thing but having it and flaunting it is a totally different thing; that is what people that a problem with.

hahaha I'm sure you got the hint in just 9 posts. My threads mostly have problems like this because I'm 16 and some individuals just think " this is a 16 year old kid, he doesn't know what he's doing".

I can feel the hate for me sometimes around here because I'm 16. News flash fellas.... You were 16 too.

I'm not showing any signs of my financial. Mostly because I dont have much. I just said that I WAS going to pay for it. I'm saving up now. I want to show my dad and all you haters that 16 year olds can be in the same league as you 21-40+ individuals.

Yea I like it for that reason too. Toss up between that and Engage.
Yes. You can keep your stock fenders too.
Im telling him that because he is 16. It seems that a 16 year old with a new LT truck is a recipe for disaster. Not saying your irresponsible Lents. Im all for you getting it. But there are people with tons of experience that can easily mishandle that type of beast. Im just scared of seeing a thread from you in the future saying you flipped it or something.

He probably meant because I am in Alabama.
