    Today I was able to work on the truck fixed a lot of vacuum leaks it still leaks down but a whole lot slower than it did. I replaced the PCV valve, grommet and hose that was not fun I kept pushing the grommet into the valve cover. Now as soon as I get the softer spring I'll see if that fixes the stalling problem.

    my outlet is 2" I have a 2-2.5" there all my IC piping is 2.5" then I have a 2.5-3" to my MAF adapter and then it's 3" the rest of the way to the TB

    As far as the boost leak tester here is a list of parts that I purchased :
    3" X 3" w/2.5 ring coupler comes with the hose clamps by Spectra at Autozone $9.99
    Shrader valve w/vacuum gauge at Ace Hardware $14
    2 1/2"L X 1/2" galvanized pipe at HomeDepot $2
    3/4 to 1/2 reducer at HomeDepot $2
    Rubber foot for a comercial pressure washer drilled out enough for the 1/2"
    Pipe to thread into found in my shop. I used gorilla glue to seal the rubber foot.

    This is just what I was able to come up with i'm sure it could be done cheaper and you can see there's many ways to do this but I think the important thing is the Schrader valve and the vacuum gauge because you can put the air in and it stays in and you can watch the gauge to see how bad the leaks are. Oh and soap and water in a spray bottle to spray over the hoses and fittings

    Should get a stiffer, not softer. Softer can make it open during idle. If you have a boost gauge, measure vacuum at idle and peak PSI is the minimum your spring should be or your BOV will open at idle (as you've already experienced.

    More zinc and phosphorus. @Torspd can probably elaborate further.

    From my understading, higher zinc content give better protection. US Spec oils have more detergents for environmental protection or whatever.

    BTW, this is spec'ed for Ferrais so +10 HP, right?
