    @Mr Marv
    I know this build is over 8 years old, but hoping you have some insight. The run of wire from the front door, through the door sill, to the back wall - how many feet would you estimate that is? I'm going to be putting components in the front doors and am considering mounting the crossovers behind the rear seats. I figure to run 4 conductor wire from there to the doors, then split it off as necessary from there.

    That'd mean a run from the back wall to under the seat and a run from under the seat to the door. Not terrible, but this way the wires only appear once behind the rear seats.

    I just estimated, added 2 feet, then cut a foot longer. I didn't measure, but I have more than enough, so I'm in good shape, now.

    Mount the cross overs right besides the amp under the seat. If there isn't space do it under the passanger seat

    I have two amps plus a LOC. I ended up going with everything behind the rear seats as I don't think it'd all fit under one seat, though I like that solution otherwise.

    One amp was a little too thick to use the mounting space on the enclosure I have, so I'll be doing some reconfiguring, but with just a single sub, I will have plenty of room on the driver's side back there.

    No worries, then keeping everything at 1 location may be a cleaner, easier solution. All the amps I recommend are micro and have high low inputs so don't need loc unless it's the big sq 6 channel

    Great write-up!! As soon as I get a couple of free weeks, I plan to tackle something similar. Curious, is there a major difference between the two subs variation compared to the one sub install you detailed here? Obviously, two will be louder and more bass, but is one sufficient (I know that this will depend on your preferences)? Thanks!

    How does one bolt the sub box to the truck? Was looking at his 2 10" box full length or the 13.5 single. Anyone compare bass from one to the other?

    Ha! I read it wrong. The one w/the 4 wires are for the rear speakers. The small one is for a sharkfin antennae for nav. or sat. radio. IDK what the other 2 are for.
