    Truck stuff
I love my 3rd gen and would buy again. It suits my needs. It does make me want more of a dedicated offroad vehicle that I dont care about as much but thats just not in the budget. As far as going with the OR, i'm not sure. I love the fact I have a rear locker if I need it and all the bells and whistles(training wheels) but electronics are not something I want to have an issue with when I'm out in the middle of no were. If I did it again I might get an SR5 and take the money difference from the OR and put it towards front and rear lockers. I havent pushed the truck enough to know if I really need a front locker yet.

I did not get the tech package in mine and I wouldn't buy one with the tech package. You'll want to upgrade the stereo to something much better than what Toyota puts in and as @Geremy said theres very few options available bumper wise that support the BSM.(I think I've only seen 1 or 2 so far). The only feature of the tech package that I could see some people really liking is the dual climate control.

Power is weak in the low RPM range and it does like to shift quite a bit. I plan atleast a couple seconds before I need power to let the truck have time to downshift and deliver it. I still need to get the newest TSB to see if it helps anymore with the transmission shifting. Driving to AZ and back doing 80-85 I barely used 6th gear, truck would always want to be in 5th or 4th depending on the incline of the road. Driving with ECT does seem to provide a more responsive throttle and holds gears longer if you want to drive it more like a car. I have only used it a few times because I dont need more power. I accept that I bought a truck not a sports car and with the skinny pedal smashed the truck can get moving well enough once it downshifts and revs up over 3k. Once it gets up to 3.5-4.5k rpm it really starts to move since max power on the engine is around 4.5k rpm.

Quicksand should be available on all models.

That's basically what I experienced during my two weeks of having the 3rd gen. I drive everything like a sports car so my driving style didn't match up well with that powerband.

Ha, that's also why I won't take off the sway bar. I throw the truck into the corners until the tires are squealing.:burnrubber:

I thought the "Sport" was just softer springs so it rides better on the road and other than that the engine is the same as the SR5/TRD OR

Sport is softer crap springs and color matched fender flares/bumpers. You also get a Kewl Skewp to look faster! I'm not sure of any other differences

I skipped my 15k "service". I didnt need them to tell me my fluids looked good. I'm due for my 20k next month so I was planning on having the TSB Rev 1 done then if they dont give me a run around like last time.
