Just admit it, you're thinking about stopping and getting some more JUST IN CASE like the entire state decides to drop by your place for a HUGE cookout.

Ya it's been too long for me also. Trying to decide which ones I want to do. May poll the wife and friends coming over and see what they think sounds good. I know I will end up making a breakfast one. Can't pass up something stuffed with cheese filled tater tots in it.

Ya buying new toys sometimes messes with the other hobbies. I need to order a bunch of pellets, I forgot to do it earlier this week so now I'm going to end up having to run some of the less flavorful stuff until the good stuff gets here. Sucks when you got more things to do than time to do em. lol

Can always smoke it and then do a reheat on the slices. Still mighty tasty reheated. I'm sure we will end up with leftovers since I'll probably do 2-3 of them for some variety.

I bought my wife an SCCY 9mm for her b-day. It's one of the smaller ones and she had been looking at guns in purple or pick so I got her it in purple. Trying to find her some ear muffs, glasses and case and stuff in purple also so she can be pull on purple when we head to the range lol.

I've got a Walther PPQ M2 9MM they she bought me last year for my b-day. Just picked up 200 rounds of high quality reloads about a month ago from the gun show to take to the range.

Not bad price, interesting that those are 15 lb. bags instead of 18.6 lb. like Home Depot and Lowes. The typical sale price Memorial Day and Labor Day at HD and Lowe's works out to about a penny a pound more than Walmart. But with the 10% military discount at HD and Lowes comes out just a little bit cheaper in the end.

Down to 12 bags normally get worried that low but they sit on a pallet in the garage so want to rotate the old stock to the top before I get new. I'm low enough now that Memorial Day sale time to grab some more not in a panic yet

Speaking of low stock and panicking was down to only a pound of Green Dot powder and Spee Dee delivery just left me a package. Happiness is a fresh 8 pound keg of IMR Green.

    IMR Green.jpg

Hey it is food\smoking related sitting on the chest freezer in the garage! Didn't do fatties last weekend but the ABT's and SPAM made up for it. So have 4 pounds of medium spice sausage to use this weekend. Going to try to do it Sunday. With some more ABT's, afraid that I am addicted to them.

Can't do it Saturday will be spending the day at an annual shoot. Worth the drive to get a purple hat (thank you Federal hulls) with 16 ga. on it. Need to load up some more light target loads yet. And a few knock your eye teeth down to your piss sack loads for the pigeon ring.

I don't like that kingsford blue bag, way to many chemicals and binders in there. I use 100% natural briquettes. You have to look on the bag(doesn't matter what brand) as long as it states 100% natural. I forget but kingsford blue has like 23 chemicals and binders.

    Edit For Kingsford blue
    • wood char.
    • mineral char.
    • mineral carbon.
    • limestone.
    • starch.
    • borax.
    • sodium nitrate.
    • Mostly Pine wood scraps.
    • Looks like they changed the recipe a while back.
    • "Kingsford Charcoal, for example, by far the most popular brand in the US, is made up of bits of charcoal, coal, starch (as a binder), sawdust, and sodium nitrate (to make it burn better). For the same reason that SPAM is cheaper than a whole ham, briquettes are cheaper to make than all-wood charcoal"
    • I'll stick with 100% natural myself
