    I love that holster

I'm gonna order that recoil spring kit tonight, seems like a great idea. Put probably 50 rounds through it last night after I shot clay pigeons for an hour and a half before. I could barely hold my right arm up, my shoulder it toasted.

    I have 3-

    Kimber Pro Carry II

    Para Warthog

And a Colt Belleau Wood edition. This one has been in the family since new. Don't believe it's ever been shot. Mine now. Debating on shooting it but it's kind of cool having one that's factory fresh.

How do you like that Para, I've never shot one but I fell in love with their aesthetics years ago

I'm on the fence with it. Have had a fair number of FTE issues with it. Only gun of any kind that I've ever had that with. I'm sure with some further tuning I will get it perfect.

A lot of the parts are MIM. Some are interchangeable with a regular 1911, some aren't due to the double stack. Mags are cheap. Good luck finding aftermarket.

It's a stainless, double stack 1911 with 3 mags for $650. You get what you get.

Weird. Mine has never failed me. Getting close to 1000 rounds in it. Been great.

A thousand rounds is absolutely nothing in the life of a gun. Even with that said mine both failed prior to 1000. My last had a nice crack running through the bushing in the front spring. Tried to warranty it and they turned it down saying I disassembled and reassembled the gun wrong. Best part is they never even looked at it or asked me to send it in.

They can take their shitty cast in China parts and go to hell.

That's shitty how they handled your issue.

I get it - guns are meant to be fired, mostly...

I just bought a Colt 1911-2011 100 Year Anniversary (unfired) for my son Colton, whom was born in 2011. So in this instance I think it's cool.

I'm just being a troll, I think collector stuff like that and turning it into an heirloom is super cool and thoughtful. I was having this discussion with my mother about how our family estate has sold off both of my grandfathers firearms for easy cash. I was just a boy then but now I really wish I had inherited that stuff even if I didn't shoot it.

Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
My bro in law has a warthog (he also has the full siza para 1911) but thaf warthog doesnt look like it would be fun to shoot. I have big hands so it may just be me, butbthe handle hits me right where the edge of my big thumb muscle is (its the big muscle not that i have one big thumb and one small thumb, but i didnt know how else to word that) its a neat concept but its super heavy for the size that it is and i bet one mag would max me out for a while of palm pain
20170116_193748.jpg i made this for him so he could conceal it owb, but shortly after that he got an lc9s in a trade and he swapped it in for his lcp he was carrying, and i dont think he will wind up carrying this one much now
