Finally got mine on today. I do have a question though, there seemed to be some extra hardware and I just wanted to make sure I'm using all the mounting locations. I have the two nuts and bolts up front to the frame, another one holding the "L bracket" on, the four for the C clamp, one bolt further down and then the two clamps/bolts at the rear. Anything I'm missing?

Some photos from today after installing the wheels and sliders, next up is a roof rack just haven't had the time.

    A thing or two...
I found holes for all the 3/8 bolts on my 08. My frame doesn't have the turn up though that the beam clamps grab. My only extra hardware was the beam clamps and two 3/8 lock washers. The rectangular hole in the frame the last bolt went through is flared, so the bolt wasn't long enough to put on the washer.

Some of the later 2016 and all the 2017's eliminate one hole per side on the chassis that we used. That one hole won't effect anything. But I do include a couple extra nuts, bolts and washers with each order.

So I was finally able to get mine installed last night. Everything went fine, no issues. Even with a friend and jack stands it was still a chore lifting them up and getting everything all lined up (dclb)

My friend and I are both mechanical engineers and he has had his own machine shop up and running for a good 5 years now. He's always been big into racing - quads and sleds mostly. He has some kits for sleds that he sells, so he has a feel for they type of market in selling things to niche groups. He was very impressed with the build and work that went into the sliders. The one that he noted was the bolt with the long bar welded onto it. Not only the work and detail that went into it, in order to make the install easier, but the fact that you powder coated it

We are very happy to hear that you like them. It took us many months to refine and engineer the best design that we could make.

And yes we powder coat absolutely everything because in my opinion there is nothing worse than paying for something only to find out that you still have to do more work when it arrives instead of just being able to open and assemble.

By the way I am not sure if you got the tracking information or not but I did send you the shirt on Friday.

I picked mine up today from @Blackout14. Everything looks good, can't wait to get them prepped, painted, and installed, along with the skids.

    So, a little off topic...

im thinking about getting the aluminum skid plates...

whats everyone typically doing for protecting them? im more or less worried about the aluminum and road salt in the winter

Aluminum obviously will not rust, but salt will oxidize it. Beings as they're 1/4" thick, you won't have anything to worry about in your life time though.

If you want some coating, scuff them with sand paper, wipe with acetone and then spray them with a good paint.
