yeti's are pretty sick they've let me jump on them and try to dent them but so did the other roto-molded cooler companies too but as a regular consumer i dont notice a difference really... if any supplier claims they also make yeti i dont think we can actually fact check that, even on yetis site it seems they outsource http://yeti.com/faq/

So are your looking to start your own cooler company? Or just get a bunch of guys on taco world to help fulfill an MOQ from a factory that makes a comparable knockoff?

Find 3 or 4 options, put the Tacoma world coin design on each, and do a poll to see what everyone is most interested in. Bet a lot of guys would be up for that

totally agree similar to decals or other parts made in the forum sold to the forum... the only downside i see is the timeline, not sure how many people would want to spend a decent amount of $ and be happy to wait... maybe one of the moderators will back the idea ;)

I think people would wait... Probably need a minimum of 10 and it'll take 6 weeks. Just tell the factory you want to order 10,000 but you need to do a sample run at volume price to confirm production quality.

If I didn't spend $300 on my yeti 3 hours ago I 100% would've put this together lol

I use a fleece blanket, kept in the vehicles anyway, or a sleeping bag. These are items I don't need during the day, and are available for use at night. They do a great job of adding some insulation from the sun or ambient heat. Car (truck) camping the cooler is kept in the vehicle anyway. I use a sun shade on the windshield, too.

A friend here recently put a couple of pounds of dry ice under 10 pounds (?) of cube ice in his cooler. The result was a block of ice formed to the cooler. We all know blocks last a lot longer than cubes. Caution that the dry ice does not contact the cooler. I am told it might crack it. (???) I think he said he wrapped the dry ice in metalized (sp?) bubble wrap. He used it on a 6 day canoe trip.

Yeah, I think you will be all right. I'm in NC, so I know about your 100* summer days. I surely don't think 2 days will be a problem for the RTIC Soft Pac.

im looking for something like this, but that has a cover so when it melts in the cooler water doesn't get stuff wet. I currently have a couple containers I got from wally world, but they are not very strong.

Here we go, hijacking the OP's thread again, but.......I have two great orange juice containers that I keep in my freezer and use over & over again, just for that purpose. I got no idea how old the water in them is (they hardly ever melt), nor do I know the OJ brand. I've had them several years and they came from a Food Lion grocery store. The container is very tough and they are shaped perfectly for most any cooler. The dimensions are approx 6"x10" and they are about 2 1/2" thick.

Another thing you can do, to contain melt water, is freeze a bunch of the small plastic (12-16 ounce) soda bottles. I likewise keep a dozen or so of them ready at all times. Fill the bottles with water and freeze sitting upright with the caps off. Once solid, you'll probably have frozen overflow, so stick it under the water faucet and melt off the excess, re-cap, and store in your freezer. Use them over and over, but keep tightly capped. No leaks, no drips, no runs !

Nice idea on the OJ containers. Also when freezing something, its best to keep adding water after a smaller portion freezes, like making ice in layers, its supposed to last longer. On the small bottles, that will work, but a large chunk will last longer versus smaller chinks.

Nice idea on the oj bottle! Share pics. I got two of the yeti freezer things also... So I figure 4 giant blocks of ice, contents in it, and then place those yeti ice things on top...
