    Got some OEM's from @mach1man001 and I'll be stripping them down, welding the holes shut and adding a few plates to reinforce it a bit more (not that I'm concerned with rigidity of the stock LCA's). Also replacing the bushings with a whiteline bushing kit, proforged ball joints and new OEM camber/caster hardware.

    Got a sample of mavcoat last night - its supposed to be like fluid film without the greasiness. I sprayed it on the suspension and it creates a tacky waxy feeling after it dries up. Apparently it has lubricating properties, is weldable and withstands salt pretty good. Suggested application is every few months or as needed. I sprayed the coilovers/struts and UCA's. We'll see how long it lasts.

    I need to replace the UCA ball joint in my camburg - It came with a tear in it but I bought them brand new - second hand. I wonder if I need to take the UCA off to replace the ball joint....

    Nice! Be interested to see how they come out. I have a gallon of fluid film sitting in my garage otherwise I would look into this option of undercoat more.

    Balljoint you might be able to get away with just removing the spindle and/Or loosening up the UCA. Try loosening the bolt first, if not then I would just take it out

    The last time I hit a jump on a two wheeled vehicle it was "Mike's adventures over the handlebars" and that was at low speed and pedal power. I'd end up with broken bones with an engine in the equation.

    I hear ya there. When I was younger, I used to come back all mangled and that was when I recovered quickly. I can't tell you how many times I limped my dirt bike home with broken or bent handlebars, broken shift lever or just completely broken to the point where we strapped it on the back rack of my buddy's 4-wheeler and brought it home that way. I'm a bit more timid now but also haven't been off road in a very long time. I'm looking into joining an enduro/dual sport club now.

    I'll be working tonight to get a bumper and tire swing carrier installed on my cousin's jeep, then see if I can't fix the halos. Then tomorrow early morning it's off to GTD (go topless day) in monson mass. Other vehicles are welcome to join but it is mainly a jeep thing. There are trails, food, part raffles, etc

    Nope, i'll let the jeeps have their day lol. But they will make you park somewhere else, you could always drive around and find a spot especially if you go for a trail ride. But there were some yotas last year and a diesel or two and some others. There are limits to the size of your vehicle that can go on the trails.

    You should be able to do it with the clamp type ball joint remover. I had to use one a few weeks ago to take out the BJ's in Jack's 1st gen. As long as there is room you should be all set with just disconnecting the spindle and replacing.
    That would be cool, kinda like the Vermonster. I am super busy this weekend though
