Northern Virginia Roll Call

The engine bay is what hurts the most, especially after being so close. I mean I can take the rain on my truck no problem, it really doesn't bother me. I can even take a few splashes here and then. But what hurts the most, is being so clean, and watching it all go away, and knowing it's gone for good.

my engine bay when I got it was so clean I could have eaten off of it.. now, i wouldnt even think about it. I tried to wipe it yesterday, but it got more dirty

 

We just can't play in the mud for too long because I think it's technically trespassing.

Yep. I got over the mud pits about 15 years ago. I sold my jeep back in 2000 and haven't been mudding since.

 

i like the idea, just not the aftermath. Its the kid inside me.

Gonna do 3 more coats on the bedside support this weekend. Install those bitches. Hopefully fix some leak stuff on the bed cover. Then take a stab at the rear diff mod. Parts get in tonight. Is everyone running theirs to the gas tank or somewhere else?

Debating on plastidip the badges this weekend. I think I have enough newspaper to do it.

 

Gas area is good but I've got mine going to the left side bed cubby.

left side cubby, or if you dont want to drill, you can go to behind the tail light

 

What is the time frame for Petes?

 

If you go that route just be warned that the interior of the cubby is very slippery when you are trying to drill through, so use a punch or something to make a dent and a small drill bit to get a starter hole going.

Lol I don't think I even noticed the drain holes.

 

nah... I can shoot for that.... the wife and child might make me a little late... but I will push them to try to make it there.
